“丢书”是图书管理人员最恼火的事,因为一旦图书丢失,就觉得自己的工作没做好,自己的辛劳成绩有被抹煞的感觉,丢书也确实给国家、读者造成很大损失。于鸣镝著《丢书漫议》(载于《晋图学刊》90年3期)分析了丢书的原因、种类,很有见地,如丢书不等于偷书,丢书的原因很多,有“或被盗、或遗忘、或放错等等”这里有道德品质问题即偷书和非道德品质问题即失误。失误有时是避免不了的。正如《丢书漫议》所说:“只要世上还存在偷盗行为,甚至说只要人们还无法做到不发生差错,图书馆里的丢书现象就不可避免”这些看法都是从实际工作中总结出的经验,实事求是地分析了丢书的不同情况。作者
