Tea, from China, to the world. The world’s tea pronunciation, tea culture and China are closely related. France is one of the earliest European countries to have access to tea and is now the fourth largest tea-drinking nation in Europe. French (thé) should be one of the earliest Chinese loanwords to enter French, but the name is not derived from the standard Chinese Pinyin CHA. In this paper, we use crossover study to study the pronunciation of thé in French and combine lexicology research with similar or dissimilar cross-cultural comparison of two kinds of tea culture in China and France to learn more about the tea culture in France so as to promote better Sino-French tea culture learn from each other to absorb each other.
