ArcObjects is based entirely on the COM architecture and can be embedded in any COM-compliant application to gain the functionality of a geographic information system. This paper introduces the application of AO technology in the development of forest fire prevention geographic information system in detail, and also points out the shortcomings and defects of this system in the process of development
