安徽省军区的广大官兵、人武和专武干部,在地方党委的统一领导下,怀着对老区人民的深厚感情,带领老区民兵脱贫致富上迈出了可喜的一步,是值得赞许的。在艰苦的战争岁月里,老区人民,英勇奋战,前仆后继,为革命事业付出了巨大的牺牲,作出了不可磨灭的贡献。全国解放后,党和政府及军队对老区人民十分关心。随着我国经济的发展,老区人民的生活水平也有了很大程度的提高。但是,由于受历史、自然等诸多条件的限制,生活水平提高的步子还不大,有的地区还处在贫困的温饱线上徘徊。因此,在地方党委的统一领导下,帮助革命老区人民尽快脱贫致富,是我们省军区系统广大官兵、人武干部、预备役人员及民兵义不容辞的历史责任。一年前,一位军委领导同志曾深情地指出:“老区人民还很穷,扶贫工作不能放松,要好好抓啊!”我国疆土辽阔,革命老区星罗棋布,扶贫工作的任务是十分繁重的,一定要抓紧不放。我们希望省军区系统的广大官兵和武装干部,紧密联系群众,在帮助革命老区人民脱贫致富上作出新的成绩,我们期待着革命老区人民不断传来走上共同富裕道路的最新消息。
With the unified leadership of the local party committees and the profound feelings toward the people in the old areas, the officers and soldiers of the armed forces and special forces in the military region of Anhui Province have taken a gratifying step toward alleviating poverty and getting rich in the militia in the old areas. It is therefore commendable. In the difficult years of war, the people in the old areas fought valiantly and bravely, paid a great sacrifice for the revolutionary cause and made indelible contributions. After the liberation of the country, the party and government and the army are very concerned about the people in the old areas. With the economic development in our country, the living standards of the people in the old areas have also been greatly improved. However, due to historical and natural conditions, the standard of living is still not great, and some areas are still on the poverty line. Therefore, under the unified leadership of the local party committees, helping the people in the old revolutionary base areas get out of poverty as soon as possible is an unshirkable historical responsibility of the vast numbers of officers and soldiers, personnel and military personnel, reservists and militia members of the system in our province’s military region. A year ago, a leading comrade of the Central Military Commission once profoundly pointed out: “The people in the old areas are still very poor. The work on poverty alleviation can not be relaxed. We must do a good job of grasping it!” My country’s vast territory and the old revolutionary base are all over the country. The task of helping the poor is very heavy. Keep it tight. We hope that the vast majority of officers and soldiers and armed cadres in the provincial military region system will work in close contact with the masses and make new achievements in helping the people in the revolutionary old areas to lift themselves out of poverty. We hope that the people in the revolutionary old areas will keep up with the latest news on the road to common prosperity.
