内燃机三件组合油环(又称三元钢带组合油环)通常有一个环状波形胀圈(又称复合衬环)。该胀圈有波形空间,它的轴向表面支撑着二个环形刮油环(又称平刮片),使其平面贴在活塞的环槽内。在轴向设计上,胀圈径向表面以各种形式衔接刮油环,促使其外圆紧贴气缸壁。开动发动机,环的各零件彼此会有相对位移。本发明的主要目的就是要通过减少各零件间的接触面积来减少环间的相互摩擦,从而减少发动机总的磨损,提高发动机效率。 图1和图2即是三件组合油环,包括一个波形胀圈1和上下二个相同的刮油环2。胀圈沿着水平横向上下弯曲成波形,这就产生径向弹力。轴向园周空间上下交变形成波峰3,波峰表面紧贴刮油环2的表面;波峰3突起的轴向高度4,其径向外表面新月状凸肩5,紧贴刮油环径向内棱边。 显然,组合油环在往复运动活塞的环槽内作上下往复运动时,刮油环与胀圈径向会胀缩,从而使刮油环外棱与气缸壁保持刮擦接触。这种组合油环无论怎样胀缩,刮油环与波峰3总是线接触,这样零件间磨擦较小,使活塞在发动机往复运动时降低了磨损功。众所周知,减少摩损归终于零件间的流体润滑。 图3是一种变型胀圈1A,其波峰3A变为中间凹陷两边隆起6,使与刮油环径向线接触。这种结构基本上与第一种组合油环一样,但是刮油环一周的轴向
