A few days ago in a primary school in Yanchi, facing a group of ignorant children, I asked them: “Do you have dreams?” The day was very windy. The children sat in the wind and answered in unison: “Yes! ”The sound reverberates over the campus and it’s very far. Then, the children reported their dreams one by one, so they were firm and full of imperfections. Listening to their answers, I am not much gratified. Most of the children are left-behind children. Parents leave them in the countryside for the sake of giving them a better life. They do not ask them what kind of life they expect. Many of the people there will continue the track of their parents’ lives and repeat their parents’ path. Where are the channels for fulfilling their dreams?
