阿佤山,位于云南省思茅地区西盟佤族自治县,拉祜族人称西盟为“西密”,傣家人称西盟为“勐坎”,意思都是“产金子的地方”。西盟佤族自治县位于云南省西南部、思茅地区西部、怒江山脉南端,是中国仅有的两个佤族自治县之一,也是国家特困县。怀着对佤族“司岗里”传说的向往,唱着儿时就经常唱的“阿佤人民唱新歌”,我从北京到云南昆明,没来得及欣赏昆明的美景、品尝昆明的美味佳肴,就迫不及待地去火车站前的长途客运站,登上了开往思茅地区行署所在地——思茅市的长途卧铺大巴车,开始了我的阿佤山之行。
