Wool prices rose This week, the New Zealand wool auction held a pound on April 5th in Beibei. In this auction, the price of wool rose in an all-round manner. First-class lambs wool and good-length woolen hairs became hot spots in the market, and auctions were held this week. The exchange rate of the New Zealand dollar against the US dollar fell slightly compared to the previous auction day. Compared with the auction on March 29, 2001, the coarse wool market index in the auction rose by 5 new points and closed at 414 new points. The lamb wool market index rose by 14 new points and closed at 418 new points. The exchange rate of the New Zealand dollar against the US dollar on the day of the auction was 0.4065, which was a decrease of 1% compared with the exchange rate of 0.4099 on March 29, 2001. The number of wools for sale and their composition constitute a total of 10,956 bales of wool submitted for auction, equivalent to a net gross weight of 1,459 tons. Among the wools submitted for auction, semi-pure wool covers 0.6%, crossbred wool accounts for 10.5%, and second shear hair is 52%. Lamb wool accounts for 19.6% of its
