巳知微量硼加入到Ni_3Al中由于增加了晶界结合能,可以增加这种合金的延性,加入铪可以增加屈服强度,提高使用温度。另外,从超级耐热合金的经验可知定向凝固法可提高耐热性能。所以,可以预计加入微量B、Hf,用定向凝固法制得的Ni_3Al一定具有优良的高温机械性能。为此,使用了三种成分的Ni_3Al合金作试验。它们的成分(%)为1)Al ll.78,Hf 3.39、B 0.02、Ni余量,2) Al ll.37、Hf5.00,B0.02,Ni余量,3)Al ll.7、Hf3.5、B0.5,Ni余量。在拉拔速度为0~50cm/h的范围内制成定向凝固Ni_3Al。
