初夏时节,走进八师石河子市,映入眼帘的是宽阔平坦的柏油路、鳞次栉比的楼房、人流如织的商业街.而60多年前,这里是一片亘古荒原.rn岁月的脚步已经走过60多个年头,而开拓进取精神始终贯穿于兵团维稳戍边的全过程.兵团成立之初,兵团人运用先进生产技术,开创了新疆现代农业、现代工业、商业和交通运输业的新局面.近年来,特别是党的十八大以来,兵团党委聚焦职责使命,坚定不移推动高质量发展,培育发展新动能,经济持续平稳健康发展,综合实力进一步壮大.奋斗在新时代的广阔舞台上,兵团底气更足、实力更强、质量更高.
