A new triterpenoid,named 11,25-aahydro-alisol E was isolated from the rhizomes of Alisma orientalis together with nine known compounds.Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.Some compounds showed weak anti-tumor activities in cytotoxic experiments.
