敖玺臣(1893-1972),辽宁省康平县人。其父是当地一位较有声望的蒙医。因家庭熏陶幼小时就爱好医学。九岁入私塾读小学、四书,打下了古汉文的基础。三年辍学、随父学习医道。康平乃蒙汉杂居区,为适应更多患者求治的需要,十四岁到康平县哈拉沁屯“泰和隆”学习中医药知识。由于天资聪敏,再加刻苦努力,出师后已能运用蒙汉医两种方法处理疾病,于是在“泰和隆”坐堂行医。因学业功底踏实,且能很好地把理论运用于实践,确取得了较高的疗
