21世纪是海洋世纪,海洋与一国兴衰紧密相联。实现和平发展和民族复兴的“中国梦”需要走向海洋。党的十八大高瞻远瞩地提出了“建设海洋强国”的战略目标。海洋强国梦已经自然地融入以国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福为指向的“中国梦”之中,成为“中国梦”的重要组成部分。践行海洋强国梦,不仅需要强大的海洋经济、海洋军事和海洋科技等硬实力,更需要强烈的海洋意识、悠久的海洋文化、深远的海洋影响力等软实力。伴随着海洋世纪的到来,媒体作为社会意识的教育者、社会文化的传播者,应勇担责任并大有作为。
The 21st century is the century of the sea. The ocean is closely linked to the rise and fall of a country. The “Chinese Dream” for realizing peaceful development and national rejuvenation needs to move towards the sea. The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward the strategic goal of “building a maritime power” with a farsighted view. The dream of a maritime power has naturally merged into the “Chinese dream” directed by the prosperous nation, rejuvenating the nation and people’s happiness and becoming an important part of the “Chinese dream.” Practicing the dream of a strong ocean nation requires not only hard power such as a strong marine economy, marine military and marine science and technology, but also soft power like strong maritime awareness, long ocean culture, and far-reaching ocean influence. With the advent of the maritime century, the media, as an educator of social consciousness and a communicator of social culture, should bear the blame and accomplish great accomplishments.
