本文选择“伊斯坦布尔的雪”这个自然意象来解读帕慕克的这个作品,不仅仅因为这个意象频频出现在作品情节的关节点上,以及人物相互之间意味深长的关系中;更在于,帕慕克想通过这个在十六世纪末下雪的伊斯坦布尔里所发生的古老故事让我们看到对其民族和国家命运的隐喻与思考。
This article chooses the natural image of “Snow in Istanbul” to interpret this work of Pamuk not only because the image appears frequently at the juncture of the plot of the work and in the meaningful relationship between the characters; more, Pamuk wants us to see metaphors and reflections on the fate of his nation and nation through this ancient story that took place in Istanbul, snowing in the late sixteenth century.
