(November 5, 2009) Dear Delegates, I am entrusted by the 6th Standing Committee of China Archives Association to make a statement to the General Assembly on the revision of the Statute of the Chinese Archives Association. Delegates are invited to consider. In May 2004, the “China Archives Association Statute” (hereinafter referred to as the “Statute”) adopted by the Sixth National Congress of Chinese Archives was based on the “Model Text of the Articles of Association of Communities” issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Chinese Science
