用球墨铸铁制造活塞环,国际上广泛应用于强化发动机还只有十多年的历史。随着我国改革开放,国外汽车技术的引进、对球墨铸铁活塞环的要求量日益增加,国内已有许多厂家生产这种活塞压。在这种情况下,1991年6月起,上海内燃机研究所开始着手制定球墨铸铁活塞环的金相检验国家标准,我厂承担了“珠光体球铁环中铁素体对性能影响”的试验验证工作,要求就铁素体≤15%范围内对性能的影响进行验证。 铁素体由于硬度低,强度小,在活塞环中历来是作为一种有害组织进行严格控制的,对铁素体的危害,及其含量的控制范围,不仅主机厂敏感,活塞环生产厂家也存有疑虑,究竟铁素体在球铁环中有何影响?应限制在那个范围内比较合适?这是有争议的问题,也是制定
