兴趣是指一个人经常趋向于认识、掌握某种事物,力求参与某项活动,并具有积极情绪色彩的心理倾向。兴趣是学习的挚友,是学习的一种原动力。凡是学习感兴趣的事物,必然力求去认识它,掌握它。因此,在地理教学中,提高教学成绩,培养学生学习地理的兴趣,无疑是一条重要的途径。正如一位教育家说:“兴趣是最好的老师”。一、充分利用直观教学手段地理研究的对象,其时空界限广阔而遥远,内容涉及多学科知识,单纯依赖学生的视野和见闻是难以掌握
