面对国内最近闹得沸沸扬扬的“食人”等“行为艺术”本刊开辟专栏,邀请美术理论家和画家来进行笔谈讨论,这本是刊物和理论家、画家们及时而有责任感的表现。但朱青生在接受邀请后却认为《美术》杂志社组织这场讨论“目前还不具备基础背景知识”只有等他先来给大家上一堂“现代艺术常识”的启蒙课之后才能够开始进行,否则就不能“防止行外人士”把“食人”等“行为艺术”当成“社会上的反常现象。这种态度未免傲慢,缺乏尊重他人的起码礼貌。 邵大箴、陈履生等几位美术理论家和画家应邀寄来文章参加讨论。本刊并不认为,他们因为没有事先听朱青生的“现代艺术常识”启蒙课而没有资格来参加对“食人”等“行为艺术”的讨论本刊也并不认为因为他们把“食人”等“现代艺术”视为“社会上的反常现象”,而就应把他们都当成没有“现代艺术常识”的“行外人士”。我们将邵大箴、陈履生等几位美术理论家和画家的文章连同朱青生的“现代启示录”一并全文发表于下,请广大读者自己来分析和讨论。
