铁道部科学研究院金属及化学研究所成立于1958年,其前身是1950年成立的铁道技术研究所金属研究组和化学研究组。单位地址:北京市西直门外大柳树村北,邮政编码:100081。铁道部科学研究院金属及化学研究所经过三十多年的建设,目前已发展成为主要从事铁路运营、基本建设中的材料、工艺和检测等方面的综合性专业研究所。全所现有职工237名,其中科技人员占职工总数的91%,高级科技人员占科技人员总数的31%;在高级科技人员中,有研究生导师23名。到目前为止,已取得250余项科技成果,其中获国家级奖励的重大成果27项,获部委级奖励的成果69项。
The Institute of Metals and Chemistry of the Ministry of Railways Research Institute of Science and Technology was established in 1958, its predecessor was established in 1950, the Institute of Railway Technology Metal Research Group and the Chemical Research Group. After more than 30 years of construction, the Institute of Metals and Chemistry of the Ministry of Railways has now developed into a comprehensive professional institute specializing in materials, technology and testing for railway operation and capital construction. The entire existing staff of 237, of which scientific and technical personnel accounting for 91% of the total number of workers, senior scientists and technicians accounted for 31% of the total number of; senior scientists and technicians, there are 23 graduate students. So far, more than 250 scientific and technological achievements have been made, of which 27 were major achievements at the state level and 69 at the ministerial level.
