纵观TOM集团由单一门户网站向“大中华首屈一指的媒体集团”的发展历程,虽然其间不乏“收购华娱电视”、“与三联合营”等诸多令业界震动的大事,然而,TOM真正向媒体集团进军的“第一步”实际是从体育产业切入的。更准确地讲,TOM的第一个战略行动是收购羊城体育。由此起步,经过3年多“卧薪尝胆”,今天,TOM体育事业部已经成为集团业务“四大金刚”之一,业务蒸蒸日上。TOM集团首席执行官王(先先)先生是颇具犀利市场眼光的老到商人,正瞄准体育这块高速成长的市场并期冀大展宏图。
