2009年春,90高龄的魏华龄先生给我刊寄来《抗战文化研究书信往来中的情缘和友谊》一文,文章的开头部分写道:“自党的十一届三中全会以来,我在从事桂林抗战文化研究的过程中,结识了不少过去不曾相识的朋友,有的直到辞世也不曾晤面,可是书信往来不断,其中有抗战时期曾经在桂林文化城生活和战斗过的文化老人,也有热心桂林抗战文化研究的学者和专家。由于桂林文化城的情缘,我们成了同道,有的成了忘年交。30年来,我先后收到各地朋友近百人的来信,有的来信多达四五十封,我基本上每信必复,阅读朋友的来信、复信,从中获得不少乐趣,许多朋友在来信中对我的鼓励、支持和期待(其中有不少过誉之词),是我晚年不断前进的动力。……书信往来,友谊永恒。”当年,我们编辑了该文的前半部分,即与“抗战时期曾经在桂林文化城生活和战斗过的文化老人”相关的部分在《抗战文化研究》第三辑刊出了。为保存文章的全貌,现将该文的后半部分,即与“热心桂林抗战文化研究的学者和专家”相关的部分刊发,以延续友谊,并祝愿魏华龄先生身健笔健,安康长寿!

In order to preserve the whole picture of the article, the latter half of the article, that is, the part related to “Scholars and Experts Engaging in the Study of Anti-Japanese War Culture in Guilin”, is now published to extend the friendship and wish Mr. Wei Huailan a healthy pen and healthy longevity!
