“心里美”萝卜是北京栽培历史悠久的优良地方品种,味甜、质脆、水多、色美、适宜生食、秋末各春陆续供应市场,深受群众欢迎。但由于有些社队不注意隔离采种和严格选种,缺乏系统的选纯复壮工作,以致该品种混杂退化现象严重,品质变劣,抗性减弱,产量下降,性状参差不齐。为了尽快恢复和提高心里美萝卜的种性,我们于1973年正式开展了心里美萝卜的选纯复壮试验,选纯复壮的目标是;质优(甜脆)、抗病、丰产(一般情况下亩产5,000斤以上),耐貯藏、性状一致的花叶血红瓤类型“心里美”。
“Heart of the United States ” radish is a fine variety of local cultivated in Beijing history, sweet, crisp, juicy, color beauty, suitable for raw food, autumn late spring each successive supply market, welcomed by the masses. However, some communes and sewers did not pay attention to the isolation and strict selection of seeds and the lack of systematic selection and rejuvenation work. As a result, the hybrids degenerated seriously, deteriorated in quality, weakened in resistance, decreased in yield and uneven in character. In order to restore and enhance the beauty of the American radish as soon as possible, we officially launched the pure rejuvenation test of the American radish in 1973. The goal of pure rejuvenation is: high quality (sweet and crisp), disease resistance and high yield (under normal circumstances Mu yield more than 5,000 pounds), storage-resistant, consistent characteristics of the type of red bloodchuck “heart beauty ”.
