WebGis是在Internet网络环境下的一种存储、处理、分析和显示地理信息的计算机系统,与桌面GIS系统相比,它具有投入少,应用广,操作简单等特点;但由于网络应用的分布性、实时性、海量并发性,决定了WebGis的潜在瓶颈:性能。随着WebGis应用的不断深入,用户对地理信息服务所支持的数据量、响应速度等需求越来越高,而且这种需求的增长远远超出了硬件能力的增长。在现有国产GIS软件的基础上提出对应的性能瓶颈的解决方案。
WebGis is a computer system that stores, processes, analyzes and displays geographic information in Internet environment. Compared with desktop GIS system, WebGis has the characteristics of less investment, wide application and simple operation. However, due to the distribution of network applications , Real-time, massive concurrency, determines the potential bottleneck of WebGis: performance. With the deepening of WebGis applications, users are increasingly demanding the amount of data and response speed supported by Geospatial Services, and the growth of such demands far exceeds the growth of hardware capabilities.
