1976年4月28日下午6时,临高县渔民林××(男,44岁)在陵水县海面捕鱼,不慎被海蛇咬伤左手食指。当时伤口不肿不痛,患者并未在意。1小时后患者在进餐时感到吞咽困难。3小时后全身发麻,以双上肢为重。曾就地服草药(药名不详),效果不好,症状渐重,出现恶心、呕吐、颈部活动受限、声嘶、视物模糊、复视、尿少、尿呈酱油色。4月29日中午急诊入院。
