在英语阅读理解过程中,图式理论着重强调读者的背景知识以及读者与文本之间的互动关系。它包括念给基本的心理语言学信息处理模式,即自下而上模式和自上而下模式。图式理论对英语阅读理解影响很大,有着重要的指导性作用。根据这一理论指导,教师可以充分利用激活背景知识,课前阅读及信息预测等手段把学生的背景知识结构与文本联系起来,从而达到更好的阅读理解效果。
In English reading comprehension, schema theory emphasizes the reader’s background knowledge and the interaction between reader and text. It includes reading the basic psycholinguistic information processing model, namely bottom-up mode and top-down mode. Schema theory has a great influence on English reading comprehension and plays an important guiding role. According to this theory, teachers can make full use of the background knowledge of activation, reading before class and forecasting of information to connect students’ background knowledge structure and text so as to achieve better reading comprehension.
