The 21st century is a century for the oceans. We must continuously strengthen our economic strength by deepening reform and opening up, boost confidence and enhance the momentum and vitality of marine economic development. History and reality show that the marine economy is one of the most dynamic and promising areas in the economic development of coastal cities. Letting potentials endogenous as a driving force and turning advantages into strengths can speed up the process of building a strong maritime city and promote the opening up to all directions both internally and externally and thus play a radiation leading role in promoting regional development.
