In 1996, Carl Sagan passed away, and the scientific community lost one of the most creative researchers and spokespersons. Sagan, as a world-class astronomer and scientific activist, does not have much to say about the “gold content” of his popular science works; and his works are characterized by thorough philosophical, heavy sense of history, and extraordinary insights, but also scientific culture. Miracles in history. The reason why Asimov, the world-renowned popular science master, advocated Sagan as “the most successful science popularization home in history” was also explained by this. Just think, how many scientists are willing to devote a lot of energy to science writing and education? In the scientific community, scientists do not engage in research and science writing is unacceptable. While Carl Sagan focused on scientific research while allowing more people to go into the halls of science, so that more people understand science. In 2006, at the time of the tenth anniversary of the death of Karl Sagan, we selected some chapters from the last book that Sagan had made during her lifetime to readers. “Karl’s topic is the universe, and his class is the world.” All people in the world who are affected by his writing, lectures, and speeches will long remember him deeply.
