据媒体报道,从1998年到2004年,一家美国著名公关公司洛杉矶分公司采取虚报、账目含糊等手段从其客户洛杉矶市政府水电部赚取了420万美元的代理费用;美国教育部通过一家跨国公关公司向一名有影响力的电视评论员提供资金,帮助宣传政府的教育法规。这些丑闻经媒体报道后引起强烈反响,严重损害了公共关系业的形象和信誉。中国公共关系业经过20年发展取得了长足的进步,在服务各类组织中发挥了应有的专业作用,行业发展的主流是健康的。但我们也看到,快速发展的公关行业仍不时出现一些不和谐的声音。据了解,中国国际公共关系协会公关公司工作委员会继2003年起草《公关咨询业服务规范》(指导意见)后,目前正着手起草一份行业自律声明。为此,5月26日,本刊特邀三位资深公关从业人员高鹏、梁启春、沈激聚首北京东三环一家茶馆,在小桥流水丝竹萦耳的轻松氛围中,就从业人员的职业道德和行业规范等问题进行对话。
