通过对芮国地望的相关探讨,大致可以得到商末的芮国位于今甘肃省华亭县和张家川回族自治县之间,之后由于武王克商而被改封到了今大荔县朝邑镇。在大荔居住期间,或是由于戎狄的暴侵而不得已迁徙至最终灭国之地韩城梁带村一地。之后由于芮伯万被其母芮姜所妒忌而不得已出居于魏,即山西芮城之芮,最终在其他诸侯国的帮助下返回自己的故土,重整国事。
