凤凰是中国古代神话传说中的鸟中之王,是集众多动物于一身的神鸟,象征吉祥和永生。在中华民族悠远灿烂的文化中,它与龙并驾齐驱,世代被人们敬仰和崇拜。100多年前,湖北郧县的地方文人和民间艺人根据史书记录、民间传说与想象,扎制出精妙的凤凰花灯。此外,艺人们还编成了独具特色的“凤凰灯”民间花灯舞。然而,随着家族观念的淡化,演艺人员的岗位流动,现在演出团体、演出活动越来越少。上世纪70年代郧县约有30多个表演班子,而现在只有6个,并有逐渐萎缩的可能。2005年年底,郧县向国家文化部推荐“郧阳凤凰灯舞”为首批国家级非物质文化遗产。 Phoenix is ​​the king of birds in ancient Chinese myths and legends. In addition, artists also compiled a unique “Phoenix lights ” folk lantern dance. However, with the desalination of family concept, the positions of entertainers flowed, and the performing groups and performing activities are now getting fewer and fewer. In the 70s of last century, Yunxian about more than 30 performing groups, and now only 6, and the possibility of gradually shrinking. By the end of 2005, Yun County recommended “Yunyang Fenghuang Deng Wu ” to the Ministry of Culture as the first state-level intangible cultural heritage.
