近十多年来,李真将军在海内外的知名度越来越高。过去,不少人只知道他是威武的军人,而且是人民军队的高级指挥员。近些年来,人们在报刊杂志,在电视屏幕,在艺术殿堂,经常可以读到他的书法作品和诗词新篇,或看到他参加书画界、文化界的活动,因此,渐渐在人们的心目中对李真又形成了一个新的印象——他还是—位“将军书法家”和“将军诗人”。人们这样称谓李真,是有一定根据的。尤其是近十多年来,他夜以继日地辛勤耕耘,确实结出了超乎一般的累累硕果,取得了令人注目的成就。
