作为甘肃省政府举办“敦煌行·丝绸之路国际旅游节”活动之一,由甘肃省文物局、敦煌研究院、国家古代壁画保护工程技术研究中心主办的2011敦煌论坛:文化遗产与数字化国际学术研讨会于2011年8月19-21日在莫高窟成功举办。来自美国、英国、德国、比利时、瑞士、以色列、日本、新加坡以及中国、香港、台湾等十一个国家和地区的文博单位、高等院校、科研机构的137位专家学者出席了本次会议。在为期两天半的学术研讨会中,与会代表就“文化遗产信息的数字化采集、处理与展示”、“数字化技术在文化遗产保护、研究和弘扬中的应用”、“文化遗产数字资源库建设、管理与服务”等主题展开
As one of the activities organized by the government of Gansu Province to host the “Dunhuang Travel Silk Road International Tourism Festival”, the Dunhuang Forum hosted by Gansu Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, Dunhuang Research Institute and National Ancient Mural Protection Engineering Technology Research Center: Cultural Heritage and Digitization International Symposium was successfully held in Mogao Grottoes on August 19-21, 2011. Thirty-seven experts and scholars from the United States, Britain, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Singapore and other 11 countries and regions including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan attended the conference.
