7月24日Fiers教授在桂林漓江饭店讲学,Fiers教授在基因工程方面的研究较深,已有多篇论文在“Nature”杂志及“Cell”杂志分开发表。这次讲学内容有三个:一、对于基因工程的一般介绍,二、应用基因工程方法研究流感病毒的漂流变异和大变异间关系(drift and Shift),也提到我国对于流感病毒变异研究工作。三、用人纤维母细胞制备干扰素,现产量很少,尚未能用于临床。本刊已征得Fiers教授同意回国后将原稿寄来,我
Professor Fiers gave lectures at Lijiang Hotel in Guilin on July 24th. Professor Fiers studied deeply in genetic engineering. He has published many papers separately in Nature magazine and Cell magazine. There are three lectures: First, the general introduction of genetic engineering, second, using genetic engineering methods to study the drift and shift of the influenza virus drift and Shift, also referred to our work on the study of influenza virus mutation. Third, the use of human fibroblast preparation of interferon, the current production is very small, yet to be used in clinical.
