九十年代以来,尽管一些发达国家已经逐渐普及激光工业应用。如美国的GTE·西尔凡尼亚公司,英国的JK公司,德国的Lamda公司都有专用激光加工机从事激光加工的专项生产。但各种凸轮轴、光轴、花键等的表面淬火一般重量都不超过100kg。我国激光工业近几年已有很大的发展,“七五”攻关,“八五”攻关,各大院校也有不同程度的研究,但投入批量生产却寥寥无几。国内这种大型曲轴目前尚无人做,重要原因是技术要求高。
