乐坛中的“小道消息”有别于流行乐坛的“花边新闻”。“小道消息”一般被认为是没有根据的传闻,或者是道听途说来的消息。“小道消息”的传播,对于不知情者很容易信以为真。但对于知情者是不会相信它的,甚至怀疑刊登这些“小道消息”报刊的其它消息了,这叫做“恨屋及乌”。 前一段时间,很多传媒争先恐后地报道说:“世界男高音歌王帕瓦罗蒂不识谱”。一传十,十传百,一些大报、小报先后转载。中国的“小道消息”自然又会传到意大利,老帕听后大怒道:“全是一派胡言！这些记者写到音乐时总是写不到点儿
