1 Carson McCullers lived in Columbus, Georgia from an early age, a small southern town with a population of 30,000. Parents love her, especially her mother as if she was alive only. His father runs a jewelry shop, free time and often with the family to the suburbs to play. This travel is very much on Carson’s mind, she likes to explore the outside world. At the age of sixteen, she graduated from high school, coincided with the economic depression and embarrassment, her dream of going to college was shattered. She had to stay home and read a book playing the piano.
