负性向列相液晶MBBA在作为液晶的取向层的花生酸L-B膜上取得了较好的垂直取向排列效果。通过偏光显微镜利用锥光干涉效应研究了负性向列相液晶MBBA在花生酸L-B膜上的取向排列,发现在加电压后液晶受电场作用偏转具有确定的择优取向,芥方向沿L-B膜的生长方向。同时对液晶盒的电光特性进行了测量,显示了典型的电控双折射形电光特性曲线。它也肯定了择忧倾斜取向的存在。
The negative nematic liquid crystal MBBA has a better vertical alignment effect on the arachidic L-B film which is the alignment layer of the liquid crystal.
