Sister chromatid exchange (SCE) frequency of human mutagenicity, carcinogenesis, genetic effects, drug effects and environmental pollution and other aspects of research is of great significance. In this paper, the frequency of SCE in peripheral blood lymphocytes in 21 elderly people over 100 years old was observed to explore the relationship between the longevity and the frequency of SCE. Methods and Results Among 21 centenarians, there were 4 males and 17 females, aged from 100 to 106 years (mean, 101.6 years). Control group of 21, the same conditions in the same area of the elderly, aged 65 to 78 years, mean 72.86 years, of which 4 were males and 17 females. experiment
