以三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)为原料,笼形八乙烯基硅倍半氧烷(OVP)及膨胀阻燃体系(IFR)为添加剂,制备了EPDM/POSS纳米杂化材料,并使用热重分析仪、锥形量热仪及烟密度箱等测试了其热性能、烟火性能及力学性能。结果表明,与纯EPDM胶料相比,添加了OVP的EPDM/POSS杂化材料的热稳定性、阻燃性能及力学性能均有所提升,当OVP加入3份时,起始热分解温度提高27.5℃,峰值热释放速率降低9.2%,拉伸强度提高26.5%,烟密度显著降低,说明OVP可提升EPDM/POSS杂化材料的综合性能。
EPDM / POSS nanocomposites were prepared by using EPDM as raw material, cage octavinylsilsesquioxane (OVP) and intumescent flame retardant system (IFR) as additives, Analyzer, cone calorimeter and smoke density box tested its thermal performance, pyrotechnic performance and mechanical properties. The results show that the thermal stability, flame retardancy and mechanical properties of the EPDM / POSS hybrid materials with the addition of OVP are improved compared with pure EPDM. When the addition of 3 parts of OVP increases the initial thermal decomposition temperature 27.5 ℃, the peak heat release rate decreased by 9.2%, tensile strength increased by 26.5%, smoke density decreased significantly, indicating that OVP can improve the overall performance of EPDM / POSS hybrid materials.
