Sponsored by Beijing Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office and Beijing Association for Science and Technology, ”2014 Beijing-Taiwan Youth Scientist Forum“ was held in Beijing from August 18 to August 22. This is an important event for exchanges and cooperation between science and technology workers across the Taiwan Strait. More than 400 young scientists from both sides of the Strait are concentrating on issues of urban development such as energy conservation and emission reduction, haze management in cities, emergency management of integrated urban disaster reduction, leisure and sightseeing agriculture, and urban water resources management A wide range of discussions for Beijing’s economic development and social management advice and suggestions.
