荆有麟的《鲁迅回忆》(上海出版公司,一九四七年版)有述:“北大旁听生冯省三,有一天跑到鲁迅先生家里,向鲁迅先生床铺上一坐,将两脚跷起,说:‘喂,你门口有修鞋的,把我这双破鞋,拿去修修。’鲁迅先生毫不迟疑的,将冯省三的破鞋拿去修好后,他还为他取回来,套到他的脚上。可是,冯省三连谢都没有说一句,悻悻地走掉了。鲁迅先生,在每提到这件事时,总是说:“山东人真是直爽哇!’”
