3-1 SINTERING MATHEMATICAL MODEL The essence of the sintering process is the physicochemical changes and phase changes in the sinter bed - such as changes in mineral composition, liquid phase formation, solidification and recrystallization. These processes are complex and difficult to describe directly using mathematical models. Therefore, the most commonly used or baked cup experiment to simulate the sintering process. However, there are some differences between experimental conditions of sintering cups and the actual production process conditions.
