艺术需要独创,诗歌更需要独创。俄国作家托尔斯泰说:“愈是诗的,愈是创造的”。诗歌的生命力来源于诗歌的独创性。我国古代的诗歌理论家们,如南宋戴复古说:“须教自我胸中出,切忌随人脚后行”《(论诗十绝》)、清人叶燮说:“言前人所未言,发前人所未发,而后为我之诗”《(原诗》)、清人赵翼说“:诗文随世运,无日不趋新”《(论诗》),都是在强调诗歌的独创精神。诗歌创作的艰难之处主要在独创,而诗人的光辉成就也主要表现在独创。
