In November 2001, we were invited to conduct a two-week study of early childhood education in cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt. Germany is the cradle of the world’s preschool education. In 1840, the famous educator Friedrich Fauperper founded the world’s first preschool education institution, Kindergarten. For more than 100 years, Germany has continuously developed and perfected its educational system so that “every citizen can enjoy the right of children to enroll in the park.” They think that Germany’s economic growth and development rely on talent, therefore, we must attach great importance to education.
