面对凉山彝族人民贫困而落后的生活现状,虽然我们之中的小部分知识分子已意识到了这一点,并做出了不少努力,也取得了一定的成效,但这还远远不够,小部分民族精英的觉醒不一定就能直接带来全民族的振兴,我们需要的是更多的“觉醒者”和全民族思想上的解放和进步,并为之而奋斗不息。马德清的《诺日河》展示了彝族传统文化与现代文化之间的矛盾,让读者能区分彝族文化的精华与糟粕,从而对民族文化作深切的体察、审视与反思。
In the face of poverty and backwardness of the Liangshan Yi people, although a small number of our intellectuals have realized this and made a lot of efforts and made some achievements, it is far from enough. The awakening of some national elites may not necessarily directly bring about the revitalization of the entire nation. What we need is more “awakening people” and the emancipation and progress of the entire nation’s ideology and endless struggle for it. The “Adriatic River” of Madhyeon shows the contradiction between the traditional Yi culture and the modern culture so that readers can distinguish the essence of the Yi culture from the dregs so as to deeply observe, examine and reflect on the national culture.
