The Notice on Relevant Issues concerning the Transfer of State-owned and Corporate Shares to Listed Companies issued in early November stipulated that all transfers of state-owned shares and legal person shares of listed companies to foreign investors should comply with the requirements of the Guiding Catalog of Foreign-funded Industries. From this article, we can see that there are only more than 20 industries that require Chinese holding, less than 5.7% of the total 371 entries in the industry and foreign-funded wholly-owned industries in China account for 87.6% of the industrial system. Among them, the encouraged industries and restricted industries include the industrial fields and industries, which are the key industries for foreign acquisitions. Among the encouraged categories, the industries most favored by foreign investors should be the public transport sector such as manufacturing, ports and freight transportation in the automotive industry, the logistics industry, the commercial circulation industry, the home appliance industry, the petrochemical industry, the food processing and electronic and communications equipment manufacturing industries, medical
