1991年10月在上海美术家画廓举办的《火红的钢城》美展,是上海美协与上海最大的现代化钢铁企业——宝山钢铁总厂联合,通过组织美术家深入生活、创作作品而主办的、以反映钢城与钢城人风貌为中心内容的专题展览。美术创作反映工业生产的旧话题,在艺术观念已有所拓展的美术家面对90年代新型的现代化钢铁企业时,显然已成为新课题。
In October 1991, the “Red Steel City” art exhibition held in Shanghai Artists’ Drawings was co-organized by Shanghai Artists Association and Shanghai Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., the largest modern steel enterprise in Shanghai.
