GnRH神经元的活动受多种递质,特别是单胺类递质的调节。小剂量的DA在有性激素存在时兴奋GnRH神经元,大剂量的DA在去卵巢动物中则抑制之。NE对GnRH神经元有双重控制,能通过α-受体刺激其活动,亦能通过β-受体抑制其活动。正常情况下,α-受体的作用较强。5-HT亦参与GnRH分泌的调节,其作用性质尚未完全确定。ACh、GABA等对GnRH神经元的活动也有一定的影响。
The activity of GnRH neurons is regulated by many neurotransmitters, especially monoamine neurotransmitters.
