Japan is historically a country that actively learns from foreign countries. Due to its special geographic location, it can learn advanced social science and technology knowledge from all countries in the East and Asia as well as to Western countries in Europe and the United States. Japan had never dominated social science and technology before World War II, urging Japan, like a student who was especially eager to achieve good grades, to study diligently in the advanced countries of all periods and eventually surpass them. This is exactly what we must learn. At the same time, Japan is a small island nation with scarce natural resources and frequent natural disasters. This has led to a strong sense of crisis in Japan, urging them to actively move out of Japan and into the world.
