Chemistry is an experiment-based discipline. Demonstration experiments occupy a pivotal position in chemistry teaching in middle schools. However, the traditional demonstration experiment is always carried out according to the method of “problem raised by teachers—teacher presentation — conclusion”. Many years of teaching practice have proved that this method has a relatively serious drawback. The most obvious is that when the teacher demonstrates, the student’s task is to “see”. The students’ brains were restricted and they were sitting behind the students. Sometimes they did not observe clearly. They did not have a deep impression after class and they did not receive the results they deserved. I envisage changing the traditional demonstration experiment teaching and exploring the experiment-centered discovery method, that is, under the guidance of a teacher, let students do experiments through themselves, discover rules, and master knowledge. One will further mobilize students’ enthusiasm for learning.
